Rafael Nadal is a Spanish tennis player.

On June 3rd, 1986, Rafael Nadal Parera was born in Manacor, Mallorca, Spain. He is a Spanish tennis player that holds the number two spot in the ATP right now. Because of his brilliance and skill on the court, Rafael Nadal is regarded as one of the greatest tennis players in history. Among the many titles he has won are eleven Roland Garros, two Wimbledon, and three US Opens. His primary rival at the moment is Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, the 2019 Australian Open champion and top-ranked player on the ATP.

When Nadal joined the ATP in 2001 at number 818, his career officially began. He defied Paraguayan player Ramón Delgado in his opening match at the Mallorca Open the following year. At the age of nineteen, he was ranked second in the ATP, and four years later, he was already considered one of the emerging tennis stars. Later, at the age of 22, he overthrew Roger Federer to take the top spot. Since then, he has won numerous matches, solidifying his status as one of tennis’ most notable personalities.
