The biographical movie “Elvis” chronicling Presley’s life debuted in theaters in 2022, starring Austin Butler as Elvis. With $288 million in revenue, the movie surpassed 2018’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” to become the second-highest-grossing music biopic of all time.

He died on August 16, 1977 in Memphis, Tennessee, United States.
